About Me

I’m a Christian and I’m Blessed. I’m a Southern gal married to the love of my life for 30+ years. The day we started dating changed my life and we were married in the middle of July in 1984. My hometown is Orlando, Florida.

I attend a local church and I love God with all my heart. He’s changed my life with the events that have led up to my current life. I love faeries and angels, did you know this? I’m a Libra and I love tulips. My birthday is in the middle of October.

I enjoy my family and spending time with them. My youngest daughter & my grand-daughter live with us. My grand-daughter is a joy to have around. My oldest daughter is living in Georgia with her long term boyfriend and their awesome dog!

I wear flip-flops in the Spring, Summer and Fall. I love to travel!

I’m a Libra through and through. Traditional Libra Traits – LIKES – The finer things in life, Sharing, Joy, Gentleness DISLIKES – Violence, Injustice, Brutishness, Being a slave to fashion. These are SO me.

I am proud to be an American and I will fiercely defend my country. I do not discuss politics as I don’t have a firm enough grip on the facts to make a good argument one way or another. I do vote though. I will not tell you who I voted for or will vote for or even what party I am registered with.

I love to shop, but as I’m not an independently wealthy person, I usually window shop and make do with what I have already. I do and have gone to thrift stores, “just to see what they have” and walked out with a number of great deals and finds.

My favorite color is red. I can play chess and checkers and I probably won’t win, but you will have a pretty good opponent. I love playing Gin, Rummy and a number of other card games.

My first tattoo is a heart with my husband’s name and our wedding date underneath it. It’s on my lower back. I had this done right after 9/11/01 happened. He was deployed a week after the attacks and I got the tattoo a week after that.

My best friend that I have known longer than I have known my hubby, met ages ago in Orlando and have kept in touch through the years.  She and I share a history and we know each others secrets as well as skeletons. I love her like the sister I never had. BFFOUCDP

Techy stuff: We bought our first computer, a Commodore 64 in 1985 and we’ve been on the internet since 1992. I love to play with graphics and learned in early 1993 on Adobe Photoshop. I use Photoshop and Lightroom for my photos.  I taught myself to hand code HTML in 1994 and I have played with PHP since 2003. I also taught both of my daughters how to hand code. I have owned many domains through the years and have had a blog since February 17, 2001.

That isn’t enough for you, you want to know more? Find me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and I’ll see what I can do.
