I cannot believe it’s been a year since I had my daith’s pierced.
I have had a few instances of headaches, but, not migraines. I believe these were allergy related and sometimes from being tired.
Everything is all healed and most days I don’t even know they are there.
I recently visited my piercer to show him how great they look and to give him an update. He’s so happy that it worked for me.
I know it doesn’t work for everyone, I’m very, very grateful that it works for me.
After 27 years of having a migraine that put me in bed, dark room, nausea, depressing thoughts, 3-4 times a week, it’s finally over. I lost entire chunks of my life to migraine’s.
It all started when I had my tubal a year after my last child was born. Then, something happened in my body and I would get a migraine. I would, I had to, work through it when my kids were little. I didn’t have anyone else there. Just me when my husband was deployed.
No doctor could help. I was given many different prescriptions to try. They all failed.
This piercing changed my life. My daughter has had the same results as well. Read through all of the posts within the category piercing here and you can see how it changed my life.
Today wasn’t too bad weather wise, in the mid 40’s so I decided to head out to the rail trail. I walked 2 miles and it felt good. I haven’t been there in a while for a walk or run, I need to do it more often.
My daughter creates this amazing hummus in my Vitamix. So good anytime and so easy! You know exactly what’s in it too! Get some amazing crackers or pita chips and enjoy!
1 can chickpeas, drained
2 medium cloves garlic
Dash of paprika
2 tbsp of lemon juice
3 tbsp of tahini (optional)
1/4 cup olive oil. Add more if you need to loosen up the humus.
Pinch of salt.
KonMari has been completed in 90% of the house. I have to purge and organize a couple of closets, photos and CD’s. I’m going to see what I can finish this week and then rest until after the New Year.
What a journey!
I went through all the crafty things down in my art space. I gave my artsy friend quite a bit. I hope this helps her launch a new venture! I have another artsy friend that I put things aside for when we meet next month.
Hubby put together a couple of organizers for me…I’ll post photos this week of before and after. I did get rid of a lot of card stock and I have more to go through. Extra stamps and stamp mounts, tools, scissors, products that were outdated or that I just didn’t use…all gone. I’ve been visiting Salvation Army’s donation line so often they actually are ready with a cart when I pull up. I’ve taken things out of boxes and containers and I’ve put them in drawers or on shelves.
I have found that I actually can find things when I’m looking for them.
I don’t have excessive things laying around.
It’s okay to have an empty space, shelf or cubby.
It’s helped a lot with my stress.
All good things!
I had some issues with the curved eyebrow bars in my daith’s being too long. So, I asked my piercer if they could be shortened. Do you know what he said? He told me that they were the shortest that he can buy, but, that he would make me some that fit better. So, he took some straight bars, made them curved and now my ears are happier. 🙂 I love them.
I’ve had two headaches since September started and both were muffled migraines. I took two Tylenol’s and the headache disappeared.
I have my life back. It’s amazing too!
